
What is takra dhara
Thakradhara is a type of shirodhara treament, in which takra(Butter milk) is used to pour gently over forehead instead of oil.
Medicines used for preperation of takra may differ based on the disease and prakruthi of patient.
Duration
Normally its done for a duration of 45min to 1 hour it may vary according to the condition of patient and disease.
Abhyanga can be done prior to the dhara to make petient more comfortable.
